Jes Koepfler is a research associate at the Institute for Learning Innovation, a nonprofit informal education research and evaluation organization based in Maryland. She has a varied background in museum studies, new media, and classical archaeology. Her current research interests include investigating the effectiveness and appropriateness of technology components for visitors in informal learning institutions, as well as the value and dissemination of open source software applications to non-profits for project management and development.
