Yves-Marie L'Hour is Chief Editor at Institute for Research and Innovation (IRI-Centre Pompidou), engineer in Information Technology (graduated from ParisTech IOTA - Applied and Theoretical Optics Institute) and currently achieving a PhD in Philosophy at the Paris-IV Sorbonne University, working on a linguistic and cognitive approach of color perception and composition in the context of digital technologies. He links his theoretical research to an artistic practice in visual fields since 1996. He has presented many artworks in art centres and festivals notably in France, Japan and Brazil (Palais de Tokyo, Cinémathèque Française, Japan Cultural House, Institut national d'histoire de l'art, Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, Sao Paulo Itau Cultural, Studio Hermès Tokyo, Ars in fine, Rencontres Internationales Sciences et Cinémas RISC, MK2 Beaubourg, Le Cube, L'Autre Canal…)."
