Proposal Submission Form

Please review the Call for Participation (PDF) before making your proposal to the MW2009 Program Committee. All proposals for MW2009 are peer–reviewed.

All fields in colour are required.

The deadline for paper proposals was September 30, 2008. Demonstration Proposals will be accepted through December 31, 2008 January 11, 2009 [extended].

All podiums at MW2009 are equipped with a PC and/or Mac with a Web browser, a live connection to the Internet, and a projector and screen appropriate to the size of the audience/room.

You may use your own laptop or other computer to project, if it has standard PC or Mac interfaces (MW2009 will provide cables). You can connect to the Internet of you have a standard IEEE Ethernet port and appropriate TCP/IP software installed (again, we'll provide cables).

5. Proposal Review

MW2009 Program Committee and the MW2009 Co–Chairs will review all proposals and make selections for the conference program.

The Program Committee will communicate its decision by email to the address(es) given in your proposal. Successful proposers must return the Speaker Acceptance Form (PDF).

Acceptance may be conditional upon refining the proposal, and may require the submission of a revised abstract. The Committee may judge that a different format is more appropriate for the proposed content, e.g. a Demonstration rather than a formal Paper, and offer an alternative slot in the program.

The decision of the MW2009 Program Committee is final.

6. Written Papers

Written papers are required for all presentation types except Demonstrations and Workshops (where they may be optionally submitted). Papers are due January 31, 2009, must follow the Guidelines for Papers.

7. Meeting Registration

All paper presenters are expected to register for the full MW2009 conference and pay the appropriate fees. See the Registration page for details.
