Scholarships and Volunteers

Scholarships ensure representation from around the world at MW2009. Volunteers can 'trade' helping out for free registration.

Professional Scholarships

New and innovative accomplishments on the Web come from all kinds of organizations throughout the world. Archives & Museum Informatics recognises that many individuals who make significant contributions to the World Wide Web would be unable to attend MW2009 without some financial assistance. Competitive scholarships covering full conference registration and a full day of workshops are awarded to a select number of applicants.

In special cases, some support may also be offered for travel costs. To be eligible, you must have made a significant contribution to the development of a cultural or heritage Web site, and must demonstrate that you would not be able to attend the meeting without support.

If you are interested in assistance to attend MW2009, please download the Scholarship Application Form (PDF) and return it to MW2009. If you have questions, please

Deadline for Scholarship Applications: December 31, 2008.
