This practical, hands on, session will look at what kinds of logs are produced by web servers [both access and error] and highlight some of the tools available available for analysing them and the reports they produce. Options for customization, such as exclusion of local domains from statistics, will be discussed, and strategies for the post-processing of output, using desktop tools such as Excel will be illustrated.
