Mark Harden

texas.net Museum of Art

Mark has been scanning fine art for the Internet since 1995. After serving as the major contributor of images to the WebMuseum, he established his own personal site, the texas.net Museum of Art. Part virtual museum, part digital art history book, the site is recognized as one of the top art resources on the Web. Mark is also involved in the commercial development of art-related web sites. He is the Webmaster for Archives & Museum Informatics, including the Museums and the Web 1998 site.

Mark is a civilian employee for the United States Air Force. He works as a logistics manager involved in the acquisition of a web-based system for coordinating the evacuation and medical care of casualties.

Mark will present Web Graphics: Art on the Net and Web Graphics: Creation and Online Presentation.
