Bruno B. Simon, age 34, was born in northern France. He studied History,
Computer Science and Information Science at the University of Lille
3 Charles De Gaulle and he graduated in 1989 with a Master in History
and DESS in Sciences de l'Information-Documentation. After obtaining
his diplomas, he was employed by an insurance company as a computer
project manager before becoming a partner in his own telematic company
where he was in charge of the designing and launching of minitel services
for numerous commercial firms. He works today as an Internet consultant,
developer and instructor with interests in multimedia databases development,
intelligent agents, search engines, user interfaces and website construction
as project manager in the ACMNPDC (a non-profit organization consisting
of 50 museums curators) responsible for the implementation of a multimedia
database of data from thirty museums in the north of France.
Bruno will present The
Virtual Collection of the Musées du Nord-Pas de Calais, Thirty-three
French Museums.
