Patrick Tevlin

Senior Scientist Physics and Lead Developer, Interactive Zone, Ontario Science Centre

Patrick Tevlin holds a PhD in physics from the University of Toronto, where he studied the physics of living things. Since 1986 he has been a researcher, exhibit developer and senior scientist at the Ontario Science Centre, a large hands-on science museum in Toronto. He has led the development of over 100 interactive exhibits on topics from traditional farming practices to space travel. He has spoken at international conferences against the use of computers in museums, and was the lead developer on the Ontario Science Centre Interactive Zone web site, which won two International Digital Media Awards. In real life has three kids, plays tenor saxophone, and races Laser sailboats.
