Marc Tinkler
Marc Tinkler is Plumb Design's Chief Technology Officer and Creative
Director. Having studied architecture and computer science at Carnegie
Mellon University, Mr. Tinkler brings a unique perspective to the study
of digital media. Before forming Plumb Design, Mr. Tinkler worked as
chief technologist at Razorfish.
Mr. Tinkler's writings and works have appeared in Progressive Architecture,
The New York Times, and the ACSA Journal. His blend of design and
programming skills allow him to create digital design directly in
object-oriented code. Tinkler has produced digital design for AT&T,
AOL, Time Warner, The Smithsonian Institution, and Microsoft. For
the Smithsonian Institution, Tinkler developed a prototype for an
online exhibition devoted to material culture that established a new
standard for online museum explorations.
