Greg Van Alstyne

Senior Graphic Designer, The Museum of Modern Art, New York

Greg Van Alstyne is founder and Design Manager of the Department of New Media at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, where he has overseen the development of MoMA's Web site, moma.org, since its inception in early 1996. Prior to his work at MoMA, Mr. Van Alstyne worked with Bruce Mau Design in Toronto. He is a member of the New York New Media Association's Special Interest Group on Art and Culture. His essay "Cybernetics, Modernism and Pleasure in moma.org" is forthcoming in UNESCO's journal, Museum International.

Greg presented Cybernetics, Modernism, and Pleasure in the MoMA Web Site.
