Stefano Valtolina is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science and Communication of the University of Milan (Itlay). He received his M.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science of the University of Milan in 2002. His main research interests include: database systems, multimedia and interactive systems, web-based information systems, semantic web and Human computer interaction. On these topics, he has published in international journals and in proceedings of international conferences and workshops. He has participated or is currently participating in several EU projects, including DHX (EU funded project, IST-2001-33476), T.Arc.H.N.A (EU funded project, CULTURE2000), and DELOS EU Network of Excellence on Digital Libraries.
