Elycia Wallis works at Museum Victoria as the Manager for Collection Information Systems. She is currently seconded to the Victoria’s Cultural Network to project manage the implementation of a database of collecting institutions in Victoria, including descriptions of their collections and ‘star objects’. Her background was originally in Natural Sciences, specialising in crustacean neurobiology, but she has since moved on to museum information systems and knowledge management.
