Alan is the Knowledge Management Coordinator for the Ontario Ministry of Culture. He provides support and technical assistance to municipalities, heritage and arts groups in Ontario and manages Information and Information Technology projects for the Ministry of Culture. He has more than 20 years of experience in the voluntary and public sectors working with organizations in the areas of citizen engagement, community collaboration, consultation, and the use of technology to build organizational capacity. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and his education includes a BES in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University
