Fawzi Mohamed received the Diploma in Rechnergestützte Wissenschaften at the ETH Zürich in October 2000, then until October 2001 he worked at the Uptime Object Factory at an object oriented communication protocol (Objective-C/Java). He did a PhD. at the ETH Zürich with Professor M. Parrinello, on DFT MD simulation, connected with the development of the open source DFT package CP2K/Quickstep, and finished his PhD in October 2006. Then he won scholarship as researcher at the Scuola Normale di Pisa, and since January 2006 he is researcher at the Humboldt University in computational chemistry.
