Peter Botticelli recently joined the University of Arizona School of Information Resources and Library Science. As Assistant Professor of Practice, he teaches in and coordinates the Certificate in Digital Information Management program. Botticelli has a Ph.D. in the history of capitalism and technology, and a master’s degree in archives and records management. In recent years he has been involved in grant-funded research projects on digital preservation and the appraisal of digital records, and he has a current research interest in metadata schemas as factors leading to structural change in information-rich organizations.
