Carmen Zahn is a post doctoral researcher working at the Knowledge Media Research Center at Tuebingen, Germany. She received her Ph.D. in 2003 from the University of Tuebingen (Department of Information- and Cognitive Sciences). Her dissertation on “Knowledge Communication by Hypervideo Technology” was funded by a grant from the German Science Foundation (DFG). Her ongoing research interests include audiovisual knowledge communication and constructivist learning both in formal and informal settings. Carmen is co-leader of the third-party funded research project "Learning in museums: the role of media for the recontextualisation of objects".
