Scholarships and Volunteers

Scholarships ensure representation from around the world at ICHIM07. Volunteers can 'trade' helping out for free registration.

Professional Scholarships

New and innovative accomplishments in digital culture come from all kinds of organizations throughout the world. Archives & Museum Informatics recognises that many individuals who make significant contributions to cultural heritage informatics would be unable to attend ICHIM07 without some financial assistance.

Competitive scholarships covering full conference registration and a full day of workshops are awarded to a select number of applicants. Professionals from the developing world are strongly encouraged to apply.

In special cases, some support may also be offered for travel costs. To be eligible, you must have made a significant contribution to the development of a cultural or heritage technology project site, and must demonstrate that you would not be able to attend the meeting without support.

If you are interested in assistance to attend ICHIM07, please download the Scholarship Application Form (PDF) and return it to ICHIM07. If you have questions, please

Deadline for Scholarship Applications: July 31, 2007.

Volunteers

ICHIM07 offers complementary registration to students and professionals from small institutions in return for assistance with on-site conference administration.

If you are interested in volunteering, please review the Volunteer Information Sheet (PDF) and the Volunteer Contract (PDF).

Volunteers are required to sign and return the Volunteer Contract (PDF). If you have questions, please Volunteer spaces are limited. Applications will be accepted as long as space is available.
