Clare Birdsey received her BA(Hons) degree in Photography and Multimedia from the University of Westminster in 1996. She is currently a Research Assistant within the Imaging Technology Research Group, at the School of Communication, Design & Media, completing a PhD degree in Image Archiving and Multimedia. She has designed multimedia exhibitions for The Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland, The Photographers Gallery, London and The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. Her research interests include, database design, indexing and cataloguing systems, user interface design, and multimedia production.
