Wendy Martin joined the Human-Computer Interaction lab as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication in 1996. Her main research focus is in educational uses of communication technology. She is currently engaged in a year-long research project with the Dalton School, a private K-12 school in New York City, exploring the experiences that teachers, students and administrators have had as the school has integrated technology into the curricula over the years. Wendy received her Master's degree in Educational Communication and Technology from New York University, and earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Duke University. Wendy has worked in documentary production for PBS programs such as NOVA and The American Experience, in feature film editing and in multimedia production at the Voyager Company.
