Glorianna DavenportMassachussetts Institute of TechnologyMedia Laboratory E-15-384a 20 Ames Street Cambridge MA 02139 USA http://www.media.mit.edu/ Glorianna Davenport directs the Interactive Cinema Group at the MIT Media Laboratory. Trained as a documentary filmmaker, Davenport has achieved international recognition for her work in the new media forms including the "evolving documentary" and the "interactive transformational environment." Her research explores fundamental issues related to the collaborative co-construction of digital media experiences, where the task of narration is split among authors, consumers, and computer mediators. Davenport's current projects focus on the creative construction of strong narrative content in customizable, personalizable storyteller systems which dynamically serve and adapt to a widely dispersed society of audience. Davenport has taught, lectured and published internationally on subjects of interactive multimedia and story construction. She serves on the editorial board of IEEE Multimedia.
