Session: Achieving Educational Objectives

In 1998, the Minnesota Legislature made available grant money to organizations developing projects to support the state's new Profile of Learning Graduation Standards. The grants were administered by the Department of Children, Families and Learning, which is the agency that developed the standards. One of the tenents of the Profile of Learning is that students should be able to extract information from primary and secondary sources. With that in mind we decided to create a web site that combined what we know about education with our vast collections of photographs, documents, and artifacts.
