Joan C. Nordbotten, http://www.ifi.uib.no/staff/joan, is an associate professor in Information Science at the University of Bergen, and author of a textbook on the analysis and design of information systems, over 25 international conference and journal articles on data management and interface evaluation, as well as numerous technical reports. Current interests include: multi-media, multi-database management for museum and library applications, and system and user interface evaluation.
