Michael Henchman is a chemistry professor at Brandeis University, who is actively invovled in teaching Science and Art issues to undergraduates and the general public. Current research interests include: Application of science in the examination of works of art : authentication, image evaluation; Teaching chemistry and art to studio artists and art historians: the development of web sites to present complex images and promote interactive learning. The development of a modern undergraduate curriculum in chemistry Gas kinetics, dynamics of molecular collisions, kinetics under non-Maxwellian conditions, isotope effects; Gas phase ion chemistry -- thermodynamics and kinetics: electrons, ions, solvated ions, clusters.
