Franca Garzotto

Franca Garzotto is Associate Professor of Fundamentals of Computing at the Department of Electronics and Information, Politecnico di Milano. She has a Degree in Mathematics from the University of Padova (Italy) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests have focused on document modeling, hypermedia design, usability hypermedia. She has been involved in various ESPRIT research projects in the above fields. She was tutorial chair and/or member of the technical program committee of

several editions of the many international conferences: ACM Hypertext and Hypermedia, ACM Multimedia, ICHIM, WebNet. She served as Program Chair of the International Workshop on "Hypermedia Design", held in Montpellier - France in June 1995. She served as Co-Chair of the First International Workshop on "Evaluation and Quality Criteria for Multimedia Applications", held in S. Francisco - CA, November 1995. She was SIC-WEB (Acm Special Interest Group on Hypermedia & Web) vice chair from 1997 to 1999.
