Jennifer Earls, Museum Explorers Project Coordinator, is an experienced high school teacher who coordinates the Southern Illinois University Museum at Carbondale's (SIUC) "Museum in the Classroom" project. Her position allows her to put into practice both her educational background and love of computers. Ms. Earls started working with the "Museum Explorers" project as a Masters student. After completing her Masters degree, she spent a year of teaching in the public schools. She then returned to the Museum to work full-time with the grant project.

Ms. Earls has a MS in Science and Environmental Education, and BS in Biological Sciences and Secondary Education from SIUC. As of May 2000, she will be completing her course work and beginning her dissertation in the Instructional Design Ph.D. program at SIUC.
