Greg Foster-Rice is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art History at Northwestern University. He specializes in the history of American art with particular interests in the visual construction of race, gender, and other identities. Last summer he helped to build the Wall of Respect on the Web as part of Northwestern's Curatorial Internship Program. Greg has taught at Northwestern University and served as a grants administrator at DiverseWorks, a contemporary arts center in Houston, Texas. In his research he takes advantage of the latest computer technologies to extend the analysis and preservation of artworks while also encouraging audiences to engage with objects in new and exciting ways.
