Professional Forum: Web Life Story

This session will be held by the representatives of the various nuclei of the Museum of the Person (Brazil, Canada,Portugal, USA). The idea is to have a collective brainstorm on the possibilities of integrating on the web archives and museums experiences (oral histories museums, archives, community archives)to organize an international year of Web Life stories. This would point out the importance of thinking on life stories as a key topic of our intangible heritage.

The participants would discuss points like:

  • virtual network;
  • life stories in the web;
  • community development and life stories;
  • Life story,technology and social change.
