Nadia Arbach joined the Moving Here project (led by the National Archives) in September 2005 as Education Resources Manager. She is working with five partner organisations across the UK to create curriculum-based online learning resources about migration history to complement the existing Moving Here site (http://www.movinghere.org.uk). Formerly she acted as E-Learning Curator at Tate, implementing the Tate's e-learning programme and managing online learning projects across the organisation. At Tate she managed the 'Our Picture of Britain' project (http://www.tate.org.uk/learning/apictureofbritain/ourpic/default.htm) . She has previously worked with research and education institutions (University of Leicester) and e-learning organisations in the commercial sector (MacKenzie Ward Research) to conduct research about e-learning in the cultural heritage sector. Her interests in the field of e-learning include the relationship between museums and schools, constructivist e-learning, collaborative e-learning, and the ways museums communicate to audiences through their Web sites. She has spoken about the principles and practice of e-learning at international conferences, training sessions and other events. She has co-authored two papers with Dr. Ross Parry (Lecturer in Museums and New Media, Department of Museum Studies, University of Leicester), one presented at Museums and the Web 2005 and the other appearing in a forthcoming MIT publication entitled Digital Cultural Heritage. Nadia created the E-Learning Knowledge Base (http://ekb.mwr.biz) and acted as editor until 2005. She has an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester (2002), and also holds an MA in English Literature (1998) and an MA in French Literature (2000), both from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
