Dr Angelina Russo is an interactive media designer with expertise in the field of Museum/ Exhibition Design. She is currently a chief investigator on a large Australian research project in the cultural institution sector. Her PhD in Architecture and Design explored the affect of new media on audience experience and communication in museum environments. In 2005 Angelina was awarded the prestigious Smithsonian Fellowship by the Queensland Premier and worked with the Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. She has managed design and research projects for the past 9 years, and her professional practice includes designing interactive exhibitions as well as sets for television, film and commercials. She has previously lectured at the University of Queensland and the University of South Australia.
