Dana Mitroff is head of online services at SFMOMA, where she is currently leading the redesign of sfmoma.org. She is a past board member of the Museum Computer Network, where she led the redesign of the MCN website. For nearly ten years she has worked on the design, development, and production of large-scale educational websites, including the UC Berkeley Interactive University project and Teacher Universe (now part of Riverdeep Interactive Learning). For four years she was the director of BayCHI-Kids, a Bay Area special-interest group focusing on computer-human interaction and children's interactive media, and she has taught graduate-level courses in the Museum Studies Program at JFK University and the Educational Technology program at the University of San Francisco. Mitroff holds an MA in art history from the University of Chicago and a BA in broadcast journalism with minors in art history and Italian from the University of Southern California.
