Lindy Trolan

Lindy Trolan has worked for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as their Cultural Collections Coordinator since 1997. She crafted the vision, won the grant, and served as project lead for both Ntsayka Ikanum: Our Story and the Research Library. During her tenure with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde she has authored papers, presented at numerous Tribal and public events, and established the Cultural Collections Program. The Smithsonian honored her with a pair of scholarships pertaining to Tribal Museum development, and other accomplishments include numerous repatriations under NAGPRA, visits to the National Archives, the Hudson’s Bay Archives, and work on bringing home the Summers Collection from the British Museum. Trolan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology (cum laude) from Linfield College.
