Stephanie Thompson is an Education Evaluator with Seavoss, where she has worked since 2002. From 1999 to 2002, she worked at the Sciencenter, a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, New York, where she coordinated research and development for two new spaces: a science play area for preschool-age children, and a discovery room for school-age children. She has traveled extensively in North America, observing best practices in museum exhibits and programs for children. At Seavoss, Stephanie has evaluated a variety of informal science education projects, including numerous citizen science projects at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.
