Kris obtained a master’s degree in Applied Information Technology at the tUL in 2000, before going on to gain a Ph.D in human-computer interaction at the Hasselt University in 2004. Since 2006 he has been professor at the same university, where he conducts research into (among other things) model-based interface development, context-sensitive interactive systems and interactive distributed work spaces.
