Richard Urban is currently a Doctoral Student at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Richard also earned a Masters of History and Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Delaware. He currently serves as project coordinator for "Metadata for You & Me: A Training Program for Shareable Metadata." Richard previously served as Operations Coordinator for the Collaborative Digitization Program, Website Coordinator for the Historical Society of Pennsylvania and Assistant Curator at the Historical Society of Delaware. His research interests include museum informatics, cultural heritage metadata, and computer supported cooperative work in museum environments.
