Adam Simon currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He received his MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate Program at Bard College in 1992 and had exhibited extensively throughout the United States and Europe. He is currently represented by artMoving projects, a gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he has had two solo exhibitions, including Basic, in September 2005. Together with Michele Araujo in Hoboken, New Jersey, and subsequently Mike Ballou in Williamsburg, he established and co-directed the Four Walls, an artists' forum and exhibition space. Four Walls ran monthly exhibition/events from 1984 until 1999 and has been credited with being a pivotal force in the creation of the Williamsburg art scene.
