Liddy has worked with computational environments for young people since the early 1980's. She has worked on the development of the Web for the last 10 years and now brings these threads together to work on a Web-based computational environment for open source programming, particularly for younger, multi-media programmers. Liddy is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department of La Trobe University and has been working in a number of countries helping explain the Scratch developments from the Life Long Kindergarten Group at MIT.

Liddy will present Scratch: online, interactive, social programming language from the MIT LifeLong Kindergarten Group. [Mini-Workshop]
