Lee Iverson has been at UBC since 2002 and during that time has been doing research on personal and social information management, user-oriented privacy and security management. Prior to that he was at SRI International and was a primary developer of the Terravision software and the Geoweb concepts, precursors of Google Earth. His PhD was granted in 1993 in Computer Vision from McGill University.
