Frankie graduated from University College London in 2005 with a Lingusitics degree, before joining the Science Museum in London as a Web Producer. There, he has worked on projects to redevelop both the main museum website (http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk) and the website of the Dana Centre (http://www.danacentre.org.uk) , the museum's adults-only events venue. More recently, Frankie helped commission Launchball (http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/launchpad/launchpad/) , a wildly popular physics-based simulation game to accompany the reopening of the museum's flagship hands-on gallery, Launchpad.

Frankie is a long-time blogger (http://www.frankieroberto.com/weblog) , and regularly writes about new media, radio, museums and other types of visitor attraction. He is currently pursuing research into the design of visitor experience spaces, including theme parks and zoos.

Frankie tries to be as 'Web 2.0' as the next geek, and can be found on numerous social websites, including Flickr, del.icio.us, Facebook, last.fm and Twitter. He usually adopts the unimaginative username of 'frankieroberto'.

Frankie will present Exploring museum collections online: the quantitative method. [Paper]
