Indiana University's Advanced Visualization Lab (AVL) provides new opportunities to achieve excellence in research, education, and creative activities. As part of a rich environment of distributed visual computing, IU's facilities include some of the world's most advanced virtual reality and visualization technologies.

This tour will include stops at several different rooms with technologies, including: the virtual reality theater, ultra high-resolution display wall, and 3D digital scanner. Numerous projects from diverse areas such as medicine, business, and arts and humanities will be demonstrated. Participants will have a chance to interact with the displays and applications first-hand. Plenty of AVL staff will be available to answer questions and engage in specific discussions.
