Jewish Women: A Comprehensive Historical Encyclopedia

JWA was faced with taking the text from a CD-ROM-based Encyclopedia and putting it online, as cheaply as possible, while also taking maximum advantage of existing Web 2.0 tools on the JWA website, and trying to do so in a way that got as close to the joy of discovery that one gets browsing a paper encyclopedia as possible. Response from Encyclopedia users indicates that we have met these goals.
