After more than fifteen years working for a Fortune 50 corporation where she traveled to more than twenty countries to manage software development and information technology departments, Rose Sherman fled to the greater good of the not-for-profit museum community. Since June 1999, Rose has been the Director of Enterprise Technology at the Minnesota Historical Society in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to planning and managing the Society’s information technology infrastructure, Rose has been guiding the Society to produce award winning web sites at mnhs.org, e-commerce business, and enterprise architecture planning and implementations. Her most recent web site accomplishments include wotr, Placeography.org, GreatRiversNetwork.org and MNGreatestGeneration.org. Rose holds a B.A. in Marketing and Economics from Augsburg College.
