Dana Mitroff Silvers, the Head of Online Services at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, recently led the redesign of sfmoma.org. She is a past board member of the Museum Computer Network, where she spearheaded the redesign of the MCN website. For over ten years, she has worked on the design, development, and production of large-scale educational websites, including sites for the UC Berkeley Interactive University project and Computer Curriculum Corporation. For four years, she was the director of BayCHI-Kids, a Bay Area special-interest group focusing on computer-human interaction and children's interactive media, and she has taught graduate-level courses in the Museum Studies Program at JFK University and the Educational Technology program at the University of San Francisco. Dana holds an MA in art history from the University of Chicago and a BA in broadcast journalism with minors in art history and Italian from the University of Southern California.
