For over a decade, Renee Anderson has been involved in creating websites, starting as a visual designer. She quickly transitioned into user-centered approaches to information architecture and interaction design. She is particularly interested in mysteries such as how user requirements and needs enhance rather than conflict with client requirements, how visual design can complement and improve good user experience design, and with the emerging territory designing services using a user-centered approach. Renee has worked on web projects for clients including UNHabitat, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Gap, Inc., and the Open Architecture Network. She has spoken on user-centered design methodologies and processes at DUX 2007, The Wallace Foundation Conference 2008, and at San Francisco’s Commonwealth Club. She has a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Graphic Design. Renee is a Director of User Experience at Hot Studio,Inc., an award-winning design firm based in San Francisco, USA.
