Tracey Baker, Assistant Head of Reference, has masters degrees in women's history and library science. In addition to her work in the Minnesota Historical Society Library, she has worked in historic preservation as an employee of Old Town Restorations and as a volunteer board member. She served for seven years on the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Commission, including one year as chairperson, and seven years on the board of Historic Saint Paul.
