Mikael Fernstrom is a Research Officer in the Interaction Design Centre at the University of Limerick. Trained in electronic engineering and computer science, he worked in Sweden for many years in commercial research and development of electronic hardware and software, and after moving to Ireland he the joined the ID Centre. His research is primarily in new multimedia browsing mechanisms. He is also a volunteer in the Hunt Museum Docent programme.
