Hitzeman, Mellish, and Oberlander are a group of researchers based in the University of Edinburgh's Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Communication Research Centre. They work in the area of natural language processing, a branch of artificial intelligence that is concerned with developing a computational model of how humans use language in order to perform automatic translation, understanding, and generation of texts and speech.
