Ann Foster Quackenbush

Ann Quackenbush has served as an Education Associate at the Illinois State Museum (ISM) since January, 1996. Ms. Quackenbush's primary duty is to coordinate the ISM's Museum in the Classroom (MIC) project, now in its second year, and funded by the Illinois State Board of Education. For this project she works with students and teachers of grades 1-12 to co-develop thematic modules for placement on the World Wide Web. She has also planned and implemented Internet and web development training workshops for MIC project teachers and Museum staff. Ms. Quackenbush is an advocate for the use of distance learning and QTVR technologies by museums to expand their audiences and further their outreach efforts. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Illinois State University (1995) with a minor in Anthropology.
