Erik Rask is the Manager of the Web site of the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) and was involved in CHIN's technology conversion to the Web and the development of CHIN's new Internet services, the Guide to Canadian Museums and Galleries and the Heritage Forum. Prior to this assignment, Erik was a project leader in the CHIN's Technology Assessment Centre. Since 1983, Erik has been with CHIN working on automation in many areas of the museum including collections management, administration, and public programming. While in CHIN's Technology Assessment Centre, Erik worked on many partnership projects involving museums, government organizations, and the private sector. These projects included development of CDi titles, CD-ROM titles, micro applications involving integrating databases of images and text, and kiosk type projects for use by museum visitors.
