Elisabeth Roxby

Elisabeth Roxby has been a freelance designer specializing in graphic and interface design for the World Wide Web for the past 2 years. Roxby has done consultation and design work for the following clients: Art Technology Group, Audible Inc., Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, MovieFone, Oxford University Press, Razorfish, and the Saul P. Steinberg Collection. She has designed web sites for Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Dead Ivy, Mixing Messages: Graphic Design in Contemporary Culture, MovieLink, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, and Simon & Schuster.

Prior to forming roxx by design, Roxby was exhibitions coordinator at Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum for over 4 years. While there, she was responsible for graphic design and production of many exhibitions including Kitsch to Corbusier: 1950s Wallpaper, Body Language: An Exhibition of Jewelry, and Good Offices: The Evolution of the Workplace.

Roxby recieved a A.B. in History and European Cultural Studies from Princeton University and a diploma from the Royal Society of Arts and Christies London in Fine and Decorative Arts.
