Antje Harder

Deutsches Museum, Germany

Antje Harder holds a PhD in physics. Her interest in making science understandable to the public made her join the Deutsches Museum as a trainee curator in 1995. Among other things she worked on the design and content of a computer-based information kiosk on Nuclear Energy and took part in developing special events for children (workshops, museum rallies). Since 1997, she hsa focused on maintaining and improving the museum's Web site and accepted the position of the museum's webmaster in 1998. Additionally Antje Harder is presently supervising several media projects for the upcoming exhibition on Hydraulic Engineering at the Deutsches Museum on a freelance basis. In addition to many publications on Nuclear Physics in scientific journals she has also done popular science writing for the Microsoft Encyclopedia 1998.

Antje will co-present Deutsches Museum Online: presenting science and technology on the Web.
